Looks like I woke up super motivated this morning. Created an Etsy account on the basis of cleaning out some of the items I made duplicates of and to also use up excess latex before it goes bad. I plan to make more mask in the near future and expand beyond Doctor Who, but currently, I am unsure what direction I will be going. For now, the creative offerings are up in the air and hopefully, I can help some of you with your cosplay. I know not everybody has access to items or work space and it is just easier to buy what you need.
At this point a lot of my work offered will most likely be raw cast, meaning, it will not have much if any touch up or trim work done. This means the buyer will be responsible for any work left to be done for a more perfect mask. I say more perfect, because sometimes the mask looks perfectly fine in it’s raw state because I add acrylic to the latex to get the desire base color. Prices will reflect cost of materials and labor as the license for any of the items unless stated as my original work will belong to the studios or production companies that created the original works. Such as BBC owns Doctor Who so mask made that are inspired by their characters are being sold for the labor, utilities and materials that were put into the mask being made.
Any offerings that we put up for sale will be listed at: https://www.etsy.com/shop/MelicoreStudios or on the link located on our main page.
