The Cyber Leader build was a goal for 2011 and actually took a lot longer to complete than I had hoped.  It was my first pepakura project.  Yes, the WRONG type of project to do when first learning a program, but it was a good learning experience.  It took a lot of resizing and work, but overall everything turned out really well.  The only exception was the thigh pieces which were too large, but I had no idea until final fitting which was at the convention.  Oops, novice mistake.   It was still a well received outfit in 2012 and despite the flaws and my beating myself up mentally over the thighs being way too large, all the negativity disappeared when a young lady walked up to me and asked if I worked for the BBC.  I have no idea who she was, but I could have given her a hug.  I honestly needed that question at that moment.

The start of the Cyber Leader.  Pepakura parts on the duct tape mannequin.

Here are the pepakura parts put together with liquid plastic and fiberglass cloth. Smoothing and extra strength was given by the addition of fiberglass bondo.

The helmet above is a toy voice changer, which is to scale in case you are looking to use one. Just need to make a back plate for it.   Also needed to make gloves.  Below is the sculpt of the gloves I made and the glove I pulled from the mould prior to painting.
