As previously spoken about, I have been working hard to finish a wookiee before Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, mid-April.  I managed to finish the wookiee to the point 99.9% of the people would never know it still had some work to go.  Managed to wear the suit for about 2 hours and could have gone a tad longer, but it was a trial to see how suit felt.  Needless to say, people were attracted to it and enjoyed the alternative colors.

Submitted the suit to Rebel Legion and was told I had a few more things to take care of, but nothing major.  By the time I received the feedback, I had taken apart the stilts and remade them with a new bracer.  Did not have time to test it before wearing it for an event.  Spent 2 hours among the crowd at the Durham Bulls, Star Wars night.  Hope to resubmit a few images this week and be officially approved for Rebel Legion so I can move on to the next outfit or prop.

Ultimately, the approved images looked like this:

Months later, the wookiee still has been quite popular.  At least once a month, he is somewhere around the state cheering up kids or all ages. The charity work never seems to stop between working with groups such as the Rebel Legion and Excelsior League.  In addition to the charity groups, we do occasional solo adventures.

The photo here features Excelsior League members and was taken by The Variant magazine.  The photo was taken at the pre-grand opening of Arkham Comics in Wilson.
