Can’t believe it’s been so long since the page has been updated. Not much has changed due to the winter months being slow for charity work and anything outside. We did take part in the Raleigh NC Christmas parade and just this weekend were invited to be at the NC ComiCon – Oak City. It was a huge highlight to debut the outfit we had been hiding since last fall. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle’s first character to take root in North Carolina.
Our version of Mikey is a surfer and skater. He wears the orange board shorts, shell and shark took necklaces and will give you a hang 3 or fist bump just cause he can. Mikey is the first turtle to be a part of the Bull City Ninja Turtles due to being a fan favorite.
Not long after the New Year, we introduced Master Splinter. While Master Splinter has some more work do to, he is very much ready to take on the foot clan or teach the young turtle some much needed discipline.
Hope you had a chance to see them at Oak City and expect them to make appearances at future conventions.
The highlight of the con this past weekend for them though was meeting the TMNT co-creator, Kevin Eastman!
In addition to just having fun, the Bull City Ninja Turtles are always trying to have people relax and enjoy themselves….some even come away from the experience ready to take on the next adventure. The BCNT crew believes that there is never a turtle too young!
On another note… be on the lookout for our etsy store to become live again this year. The possible addition of turtle suits has been discussed.
